Locally, Project Linus volunteers knit, crochet and quilt new blankets to be given to comfort children who are in crisis. Bedding/linens not provided. The program just makes blankets to give kids from birth to age 18 in need of a hug due to illness, trauma, homelessness, abuse or anything else that causes the need. The organization's volunteers feel needed and proud of the work they do to produce a blanket to help a child. Members teach anyone interested in crocheting, knitting or quilting.
