Description:

Certified Guardian ad Litem volunteers represent children in a Dependency Court action who have been removed from their parents' custody due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. The volunteers are appointed by a court order from the Dependency Court judge. Guardians do NOT assist with divorce cases. Charlotte 211 cannot refer children/families for Guardian assistance, but can link potential volunteers to the agency for more information.
