Charlotte Behavioral Health Care provides a wide array of crisis stabilization, mental health and substance abuse programs and services for adults, children and adolescents. Programs include, but are not limited to, a 24/7 Crisis Hotline; psychiatric care/medication management; individual, group and family counseling/therapy; detox and extended treatment services; support groups; case management; Therapeutic Family Care (for adults with serious mental illnesses who require more intensive support in order to successfully live in the community); Juvenile and Adult Drug courts, and Mental Health Court; competency and other assessment services; and parenting skills classes. CBHC also has two other sites in Charlotte -- Northside Psychiatric in Murdock, and The S.H.A.R.E. Spot drop-in center in Parkside -- that have their own listings in this database.
