Sunrise Kiwanis serves the children of Charlotte County, notably with the "Shoes for Kids" program, which has been providing tennis shoes for Charlotte County Public Schools students for more than a decade. With the main push for donations taking place each summer, the program distributes the bulk of the shoes around the beginning of each school year, and continues to meet the need throughout the year. Donations are welcome, at drop boxes over the summer, as well as financially online and via the mail.     Fees

    To donate online, the cost for a pair of shoes for elementary school-aged children is $10. For high school-aged, the cost is $12.
