For the Lawyer Referral Service (LRS): Seniors should ask for the Elderly Referral Panel. Those in financial need can ask for the Low Fee Panel, to see if they may qualify. Those who qualify for one of these can receive a free initial 30-minute office consultation. For simpler cases, remaining legal work may be offered at a reduced rate; fee-generating cases, such as personal injury or malpractice, would not qualify for reduced rates.
