Description:
The center rescues and rehabilitates wildlife that has been orphaned, displaced or injured. The animals, mostly birds, are later released back to their natural habitat or, if nonreleasable, placed on educational display. The center also serves to educate the public about our area wildlife, and offers many presentations throughout the year, as well as center tours. The agency always accepts volunteer applications as well, with a wide variety of positions available.
