SEDNET serves as a collaborative resource for school districts, agencies and families working to promote positive educational and community-based outcomes for children with emotional and/or behavioral disabilities. Students served also include those at risk with substance abuse, violence and suicide; and those involved in protective services, foster care, juvenile justice, and at risk for or involved in residential treatment. SEDNET's activities include technical assistance to teachers, specialists, parents and more to coordinate students' educational programs with the delivery of community agency services; as an information source for specific related training; and staff participation and support in Individual Education Plans.
