Charlotte 211 cannot refer children/families for Guardian assistance, but can link potential volunteers to the agency for more information.

    Description

    Certified Guardian ad Litem volunteers represent children in a Dependency Court action who have been removed from their parents' custody due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. The volunteers are appointed by a court order from the Dependency Court judge. Guardians do NOT assist with divorce cases. Charlotte 211 cannot refer children/families for Guardian assistance, but can link potential volunteers to the agency for more information. The agency periodically accepts new stuffed animals and other toys to provide to client children in need of comfort.
