Description:

Better Together facilitates housing for children of families in crisis, as well as parent mentorship. The program is short-term voluntary placement for the children only, from infants to 17 years old. Although 6-8 weeks is the average stay, stays can be as short as a few days. Parents retain full custody. The program is not affiliated with the Department of Children and Families or any other governmental agency. It is privately funded; all host families are volunteers who are vetted and trained.
