Description:

Eskaton Telephone Reassurance provides telephone reassurance to seniors throughout the United States 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Friendship, connection and joy are all important elements of Eskaton!€™s Telephone Reassurance Program. Each and every day, the program brings together older adults and volunteers of all ages to share experiences, stories and laughter through friendly conversation. Beyond building meaningful connections, program staff provide the following services to participants: daily cost-free calls, 365 days a year, safety and wellness checks, access to resources and education, referrals to Eskaton!€™s social worker, on-call chaplain for spiritual support, and access to support groups.

Intake Process:

Applicants call the office or fill out an application online. They will then receive a call from a staff member for an intake call so that they can be paired with a volunteer.
