Programs that conduct an evaluation of lower limb functioning in situations where there are degenerative, inflammatory, neurological or vascular issues; pelvic and lower back injuries; hip, groin, thigh and knee injuries; leg, ankle and foot injuries; balance or gait problems; amputations; or other lower limb disorders. The results of lower limb assessments are used to make decisions regarding musculoskeletal surgery; the fitting of prostheses, orthoses and special foot wear; the use of electrical stimulation and manual therapies; and other treatment and management options.
