Programs that provide classes, individual lessons or other opportunities for people who want to learn or perfect their skills in felting, the art of subjecting different varieties of wool (usually un-spun wool) to moisture, heat and pressure to create felt, combining the felt with other materials such as silk, and molding the felt into items of clothing, objects or art pieces such as wall hangings that have aesthetic patterns and textures. Also included is instruction for people who want learn creative ways to use felt to create wearable art, toys and other items.
