AHCA performs regulatory inspections (surveys) of licensed health care facilities; certification of health care facilities that receive Medicare; and investigation of complaints against health care facilities. For consumers to compare and locate various facilities, agencies and providers, the agency also maintains its FloridaHealthFinder.gov website. AHCA also is primarily responsible for overseeing the state's Medicaid program.

This is a helpful site for comparing agencies and their services, as well.
