Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches are residential programs that provide a healthy living environment and operate summer camps for troubled and/or underprivileged youth.
Hours
8:15AM - 5:15PM Monday to Friday (office)
Eligibility
8-17 years old; 10-15 years old for camps and must be legal FL resident. Youth must: Have average to above average intelligence, not pose threat to self or others or be a serious habitual offender, be physically able to participate in program activities, agree to participate in religious activities, perform in public school setting or alternative educational program, not have alcohol of drug dependency and be willing to work on personal problems and be recommended by the sheriff in county of residence.

Phone screening, referral from local sheriff, face-to-face interview, campus interview and admission/rejection.
